The poet who never wanted the true recognition!





P. V.Joshi Alias Savita Parijat was born at saundalaga Dist Belgaum Karnataka.A very intelligent boy with flair for writing stood first in mumbai elakha the then province of Mumbai state in seventh standard and his photo appeared in the magazine vernacular final.He had out of out marks in Maths. son of apurohit Brahmin family at very small village he aspired for more daydreamy world and took himslef a pen name called SAVITA PARIJAT. savita means sun a word in sanskrit stand for savitru and parijat means cool and pleasing flowers of prajakta a very famous tree popular fro the fragrance and freshness.
He used to write poetry in marathi and send it to various sources for publishing.Poor fellow never had nay practical outlook about world in those days but had a struggling rural spirit and castless attitude towards society which gave me a name in his circles.........contd
